Grouper is the type of artist that doesn’t need much introduction. Grouper (aka Liz Harris) is an Oregon-based ambient musician, visual artist, and producer who has recorded music under the moniker Grouper since 2005.
Last night Grouper stunned audiences at the first of three sold-out shows at the newly reopened, historic Opera House in Brooklyn. Chris Brokaw opened the show with a exceptional set as well.
Grouper is playing these shows in support of last year’s excellent album Shade (out via Kranky.)
