UK post-rockers Caroline closed out their US tour at Brooklyn’s National Sawdust.
Last night, London-based eight piece Caroline played Brooklyn at National Sawdust with support from NYC’s Wendy Eisenberg & Ryan Sawyer.
Pitchfork said of the band’s recent album, “Five years in the making, the UK band’s debut accomplishes something nearly impossible for a largely instrumental post-rock album: to project urgency and timelessness simultaneously.”
We saw them bring this urgent yet timeless blend of minimalist classical, Midwestern post-rock emo, and Appalachian folk to the Sawdust stage to a packed house, and it did not disappointment.
