UK’s Dry Cleaning wrap their North American tour with a sold out show in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
Last night, London four-piece Dry Cleaning finished up their tour supporting their sophomore album, Stumpwork, playing to a sold out crowd at Red Hook’s Pioneer Works.
Pioneer Works proved to be an excellent backdrop for frontwoman Florence Shaw’s captivating vocals and unconventional spoken word lyrics, as well as fellow bandmates Tom Dowse, Lewis Maynard and Nick Buxton rich collage of poetic post-punk.
Support came from Spirit of the Beehive and Nourished By Time. Nourished by Time, who kicked the whole night off, brought a special energy into the space. Spirit of the Beehive delivered a fantastic performance as well.
