Help Out Tom Carter, Get 99 Excellent Songs

Just over a year ago, Tom Carter ended up in cricitcal care in a Berlin hospital while touring Europe. Since then, Carter seems to have recovered well, playing live and recording just about as much as ever. Unfortunately, as you most certainly know, medical costs are damn expensive and don't just up and disappear when a patient is feeling well. To help the Charalambides founder pay his debts, Irish label, Deserted Village, just released a benefit compilation on Bandcamp. The compilation is 99 tracks long, featuring everyone from Richard Youngs to Sacred Harp Singers to Alastair Galbraith to Mike Gangloff to Tom Carter himself. It's an aural ton of music, all for 7,50 euros. In other news, Carter is hitting the road with Thurston Moore's new project, Chelsea Light Moving.
