Paco Sala is the side project by London resident Antony Harrison, whose synth-based kosmische and drone with his principal project Konntinent has been known to impress for quite some time now. Like many of the tracks on his new Ro-Me-Ro LP, "Earn Your Stripe" features some the ethereal, crystalline vocals of Leyli. Harrison’s instrumentation leans heavily toward the intricately textured, experimental ambient, fractured only by a dragging drum machine beat. It is her voice that turns “Earn Your Stripe” into a pop song. (via No Fear of Pop)
