In an effort to forge a Justice League of people who apparently don't understand what music is, Daniel Lopatin's and Joel Ford's Software Label is launching a series of free jazz and electronic albums dubbed SSTUDIOS. If it wasn't enough that it's being inaugurated by an international duo of future-present heavies-- Tim Hecker and Lopatin himself-- the series is co-curated by C. Spencer Yeh, lord of the drones and duke of collaborative improvisation. Hecker and Lopatin are currently in the studio, the news coming fresh on their announced collaboration at this year's Polish edition of Unsound Festival.
