You probably don't need an introduction to Philadelphia's Kurt Vile, but if you do, you should pipe in Childish Prodigy to your listening device of choice. "Wakin' On A Pretty Day" is the nine-minute opener to Kurt Vile's newly announced record, the clashingly titled Wakin' on a Pretty Daze. The video's visual treatment uses outtakes from a documentary on the album's cover art-- graffiti done by hometown chum, ESPO, who rose in the late 90's.
At 69 minutes, Wakin' on a Pretty Daze is Vile's longest sprawl yet. It's due April 9 on Matador.
