Idiot Glee: "Pinkwood"

Idiot Glee:

Lexington, KY-based pianist/composer James Friley, aka Idiot Glee, glosses over loneliness and injury in the suave scope of his new single "Pinkwood." James' croon defies his own youth, carrying the weight of chain-smoking mid-life crises twice his age. The synthetic repetitions of the refrain overwhelm his own desperate solution ("I think I need a lover"), like a wind tunnel competing, through the way-too-fast car window, with a radio continually blaring "Dreams".

"Pinkwood" is taken from Life Without Jazz, out February 26th on Atelier Ciseaux and Bureaubureau.
