d'Eon Covers Blink-182 14 Times, Fucks With Your Shit

WOOOOOW didn't see this one coming. Today, synth raga-ist d'Eon dropped the second volume from his Music For Keyboards series on Stereogum, and all the songs on it are variations of Blink-182's "What's My Age Again". It's not a joke, but the silver lining is that it's not super obvious on a cold listen that all of the songs are based on the pop punk anthem, and that's a mighty good thing (or is it?). While it walks the line of being a pretty shallow publicity stunt leading up to his upcoming LP called LP (editor's note: :-/), it also fits Hippos In Tanks' grander artistic agenda of fucking with indie purists' shit re: Ferraro's Far Side Virtual and Sam Mehran's R&B transformation to Outer Limitz.

Listen for yourself and download Music For Keyboards Vol 2 on Mediafire. You can also pick up Blink-182's "What's My Age Again" 7" picture disc on eBay.
