Brandlmayr, Dafeldecker, and Fennesz Collab for LP

m=minimal, the Berlin based label and home of the most excellent German drone and experimental sounds, is set to release a three-way collab between Brandlmayr, Dafeldecker and Fennesz on May 21st. We have the first listen to a mind-altering excerpt of "Till the old world's blown up and a new one is created part 2" that was handchosen by Dafeldecker himself. Exploring the relationship between sound and silence, this terse work dips into fragments of motifs that ring through a stifling lack of noise, only to fade away upon moving through the stillness. Huge stretches of silence engulf the listener until an affecting arrangement of tone clusters washes over the piece, quietly dissolving into chilling nothingness. (No Fear of Pop co-premiere)

Till the old world's blown up and a new one is created will be available on 12" for worldwide orders on KOMPAKT soon.
